Satoko Kato is the Co-founder of the Reflective Dialogue Lab and an Associate Professor at the Research Institute for Learner Autonomy Education, Kanda University of International Studies (KUIS), Japan.
She holds an M.A. in TESOL from Teachers College, Columbia University (USA), and a Ph.D. in Education from Hiroshima University (Japan).
As a learning advisor dedicated to fostering learner autonomy, she has conducted over 4,000 advising sessions to date.
Jo Mynard

o Mynard is the Co-founder of the Reflective Dialogue Lab and a Professor in the Faculty of Global Liberal Arts at Kanda University of International Studies (KUIS), Japan.
She holds an M.Phil. in Applied Linguistics from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and a Ph.D. in Education (TEFL) from the University of Exeter (UK).
As a researcher and learning advisor dedicated to promoting learner autonomy, she has published extensively and serves as the Managing Editor of Studies in Self-Access Learning Journal (SiSAL).
